Your Stay at Private Hospital Villach
Naturally, there are numbers of questions that may arise during your hospital stay. We would like to inform you in this section about the most important points and processes in our facility.
Accessability
The Private Hospital Villach is accessible from the parking spaces in front of the building. An elevator provides a barrier-free access to the underground garage. All medical examination rooms are accessible both for impatients and outpatients.
Accompaniment
With children and/or elderly persons, sometimes it is necessary or desirable for an accompanying person to be admitted with them for stationary stays in order to have a trustworthy person there. Please discuss this possibility with our staff at the admission desk.
Cafeteria
Our cafeteria is open for our patients and their visitors every day. Additionally, you can purchase newspapers, books and magazines, diverse toiletries as well as sweets and candies.
Healthy and delicious food
Our chef and his team treat our patients with a daily rotating menu featuring all sorts of food for your special needs. Patients can choose to have their meals in the patient restaurant or in their rooms.
Our dietitians will gladly advise you regarding your choice of meals and if required will develop a diet plan to fit your wishes.
Electronic Payments (cashless)
You may pay your bill either cash with debit card or credit card at the admission desk. Telephone charges as well as the single room surcharge (if applicable) should be paid on the last day of your stay at the admission desk.
Haircuts, manicures and pedicures
If you wish to get a haircut, a pedicure or a manicure during your stay at our hospital, please contact a member of your nursing staff who will gladly coordinate an appointment for you.
Internet
There is free internet access for all patients. Patients can use the WLAN internet that is available in the whole building. For more information, please contact the reception desk.
Magazines and Newspapers
You will receive daily and free of charge a newspaper delivered to your room. Moreover, you can purchase additional newspapers and magazines in our cafeteria.
Nondenominational Chapel
During stays in hospitals, many patients often need a place for peace and quietness. Our chapel for contemplation in the basement floor provides members of all religion denominations a place to pray, for personal reflections and inner peace.
Every Thursday at 5:30 pm there is church service in the nondenominational chapel.

There is a parking garage and a parking lot with a gate next to the main entrance of the Private Hospital Villach, that can be used by patients and visitors.

Pastoral care
During hospital stays, patients often have spiritual needs and desires. Therefore our minister Dieter Frierss is available for advice and support. Please ask the nursing staff for further information.
Rooms
All rooms are equipped with telephone, television, radio, safe, a bathroom and toilet, as well as wireless internet. Patients will find a hair dryer, a magnifying mirror and toiletries in the bathroom. Patients are also provided with a bath robe for the duration of their stay.
Smoking
Please keep in mind that smoking can damage your health. We ask for your understanding that smoking is not allowed in all patient areas in accordance with official regulations. We will not tolerate any smoking in hospital rooms under any circumstance.
Visiting Hours
You are welcome to visit patients in our facilities at anytime. However, we do request that you respect the privacy of your roommate and keep our quiet rule from 10 pm to 6 am so others can sleep.
Visitor meals
Family members and visitors are also very welcome to dine in the patient restaurant. They can choose one of our offered meals. After the meal, please pay directly in the restaurant.
Your valuables
In your lockable wardrobe you can also find a safe. Please place all of your money and other valuables here. When you leave your room, please remember to lock your wardrobe. We cannot take responsibility for any lost valuables.
